Ho conseguito la Laurea in Informatica presso la Facoltà di Scienze Matematiche Fisiche e Naturali dell’Università degli Studi di Cagliari; la mia carriera è iniziata operando nell’ambito delle tecnologie optoelettroniche, e solo verso la fine degli anni novanta ho iniziato professionalmente a occuparmi dell’amministrazione e della sicurezza dei sistemi e delle reti informatiche; da oltre dieci anni amministro la rete informatica di un grande ente italiano, curandone sia la funzionalità, sia le politiche di sicurezza; possiedo una grande passione per la scrittura e, oltre a numerosi articoli e interventi anche di carattere non tecnico, ho pubblicato diversi libri riguardanti la programmazione, il networking e la sicurezza delle reti/sistemi; ho collaborato con differenti aziende del panorama ICT (Information and Communication Technology), effettuando anche attività di consulenza e docenza in relazione a vari corsi su materie informatiche.

I have graduated in Computer Science at Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences of Cagliari (Italy), I began my career as Electronics Technician in the context of Optoelectronic Technology in 1983, and started to deal with the administration and the security of systems and networks toward the end of the nineties. For over ten years I have been working as Network and System Administrator for an important italian institution. My tasks involved the management of either functionality and security polices. In addition, I have worked with different companies of the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) environement and I have often been working as a teacher for many courses about Computer Science. My passion for writing also led me to publish a number of books regarding Systems Programming, Networking, and Network Security and many technical and non-technical articles.
